L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine

Fat Metabolism & Recovery Support

L-Carnitine was once called the "Rolls Royce of Fat Burners". It helps transport long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria where they’re burned for fuel - especially during endurance activity. This makes it a standout ingredient for anyone trying to optimise fat oxidation, conserve glycogen, and improve body composition while maintaining peak performance.

It’s also been shown to reduce exercise-induced muscle damage, speed up recovery, and decrease soreness. For athletes aiming to train hard without compromise, L-Carnitine bridges the gap between energy production and muscle preservation.

In short: Enhances fat-burning, reduces soreness, and supports recovery.

NB: often the switch to fat burning as an energy source involves using up the glycogen reserves in liver and muscles during the aerobic portion of the exercise. Switching to anaerobic exercise involves the use of stored fats as an energy source. This is where L-Carnitine helps free up the fat metabolism as an energy source - usually at the 25-40 minute mark of continuous exercise, and characterised by the onset of heat and more perspiration. Keep well hydrated.
