The formula works in two stages. Black pepper and nutmeg build warmth as the cream is worked in. Peppermint and eucalyptus finish cool. Almond and grapeseed oils carry the actives and keep the cream moving under the hand through a long application, which is what makes it suited to the large areas and joints.
